At Raise, B Corp Day is more than just volunteer experience—it’s a reminder of why what we do matters. As one of the only certified B Corporations in our industry, we hold ourselves to a higher standard and are committed to using our business as a force for good in the world.

B Corp Day is a chance to get together and recognize the collective efforts that make the work we do possible and to renew our commitment to responsible growth.

Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what ethical business can achieve, and be the change we wish to see in the world!

The Upper Oakville Shopping Centre has envisioned the creation of a community garden for the residents of Oakville—Blueberry Fields. This initiative extends beyond just growing produce; it’s about fostering a stronger, more connected community. Each year, volunteers come together to plant, nurture, and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables, which are then donated to Home Suite Hope, supporting families in need.

This event is a chance to give back, get your hands in the soil, and make a lasting impact. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a first-time planter, your efforts will help ensure that fresh, nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

This initiative runs year-round, but Earth Day (April 22) is a great time to get involved! Whether you join a local cleanup event or organize your own, every effort counts toward a brighter, greener future.

When: Throughout the Month of April

Your Goal: Three hours of cleanup

What volunteers should bring: Gather supplies including trash grabbers, bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, first aid kit, and a location to throw out your waste.
