How to RAP & CAP
You can combine a RAP and CAP into the same Loomio thread, but it requires a little extra structure. It’s best to treat them as distinct processes, having each clearly separated. Speak with your Peer Mentor to see if this is the best approach for you.
Recommended sequence:
1. RAP Phase – start/complete your RAP in Loomio:
A. Post RAP Proposal
B. Meet with relevant advisors
C. Post RAP Proposal V2 (if needed)
D. Post vote (consent required)
E. Post RAP outcome
2. CAP Phase (in the same thread) – once the RAP is completed, then post your CAP:
A. Post CAP Proposal
B. Meet with any advisors needed (Additional meetings may not be necessary if sufficient clarity was established during the RAP)
C. Post CAP Proposal V2 (if needed)
D. If consent is required, post a vote / If advice only is required, post the decision
E. Post CAP outcome
This approach balances transparency while keeping role and compensation discussions clearly delineated.
